Our site relies on dedicated members like you to run smoothly and we are always looking for new members to join us! YOU COMPLETE 10-12 write-ups each week - In Exchange WE PROVIDE FREE access to all the sweepstakes in the directory, along with our list of bookmarks, resources and more.
PLEASE READ thru the information below as it answers most questions new members have and explains how the write-ups are done - if you still have questions after you read thru the information and/or are interested in joining us then please email Lisa at lannlal@aol.com Subject Line: Helpers How It Works Helpers are sent a list of 10-12 sweep links each week that need to be written up. These might be a single site that has many sweeps (such as Shakefire) OR a list of different sweeps from the folder OR a combination. These sweeps must be typed up and sent in by email. These can be written directly into an email or copy/pasted from a word program - we do not accept attachments. (Example write-ups below) Helpers can elect to receive their list on a specified day of the week OR to receive them divided up over several days. It is YOUR choice on how you wish to receive your links, however, all links sent are expected back by the following morning. NEW HELPERS are given a list of 5 trial links. These are checked for accuracy and how "copy-ready" the submission is. IF everything is OK we will start you new membership immediately and you will continue to receive free access for as long as you remain and active member. TIME required to write the listings will vary depending on the site and sweepstakes - your first few attempts WILL take you longer as you become familiar with the format but should be able to be done within a 1/2 hour to hour a week at the most once you become comfortable with he listings/format. We rely on helpers to provide copy-ready, accurate listings to allow us more time to work on day to day duties and search out new listings. While we do occasional "spot checks" most listings from established helpers are pasted in "as is" so PLEASE make sure you have provided accurate information so we don't get swamped by emails from members over incorrect listings. WHAT DOES A LISTING CONTAIN A: Title: Close Date/Title/Short Description Example: a10/10/08 eXmark - Boat Note: the "a" indicates the giveaway ends this year and keeps the sweeps "in closing order in the directory". Sweeps ending in 09 are given a "b", etc. B: Who Can Enter - (US/48 & CAN 21+ OR US/18+ OR US/CAN 13+, etc.) Example: Open: US/DC 18+ Void (listed only if stated, exp PR) C: How Often Can You Enter (daily/person, weekly/household, etc) & expiration Example: Enter: Once/household Exp 10/10/08 D: BRIEF description of the prize Example: Grand prize winner will receive a Sea Chaser boat and motor package. One winner will receive an Quest riding mower. Other prizes include Sonor/GPS systems, guns and fishing rods E: Note: list only if something is out of the ordinary or requires further clarification Example: A non-vehicle related sweep requiring a drivers license.
